On Thursday, August 29th, as a journalism class, we celebrated Maddie Dozier’s birthday. Mrs. Thomas had quite the setup with a pink tablecloth, donuts, fruit, and apple juice. There were two boxes of warm Butter Crisp donuts waiting for us when we got to 1st hour. We all sang happy birthday to her which made her feel very special. Maddie states “I loved how the class celebrated me and made my first period of the day special. It was a great way to start my birthday”.
