The NFL Playoffs are here! Buccaneers vs Commanders played on Sunday, January 12th at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The weather was great, being a sunny 54 degrees. This highlight of a game was a battle between the 3rd seed Buccaneers and the 6th seed Commanders. Rookie star Quarterback Jayden Daniels, a former LSU player led the Commanders in a great season going 13-5 for the first time since 2015. The commanders were going up against Baker Mayfield, former Los Angeles Rams quarterback, in a thriller of a game. The Buccaneers started the game with a 50-yard field goal leading 3-0 after the first quarter. Going into the second quarter it was head-on-head with Jayden Daniels throwing a touchdown pass to Dyami Brown a Buccaneers Wide receiver following up with a 52-yard field goal leading 10-3. Before the half ended with 10 seconds left the Buccaneers Quarterback Baker Mayfield threw a 1-yard passing touchdown to tie 10-10 at halftime. Starting the 3rd quarter the Commanders kick a 22-yard field goal and in the 3rd quarter Baker Mayfield threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Bucky Irving to take the lead 13-17. The last quarter starts with a touchdown from the Commanders to take the lead back and a 32-yard field goal from the Buccaneers to make the game 20-20 with 4 minutes left. Jayden Daniels led the Commanders to the 37-yard line with 1 second left and the kicker Zane Gonzales kicked a field goal off the post and made it in to help the Commanders to a 23-20 win with the first win since 2006. Jayden Daniels is the 4th rookie since 2012 to win a playoff game.
