The Australian Open is off to a great start this year with Coco Gauff returning to try to win her first Australian Open. Gauff won the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the first time in November 2024. Now in 2025, she is in protection mode against her record. Gauff started her week winning both her singles and doubles matches leading her to her second United Cup title in Australia. Gauff has just won 1 of her first 12 matches against the Pole on tour. She has earned many victories over Świątek at the WTA Finals and United Cup.
