On Monday, January 13th, the Northlake Christian women’s soccer team beat St. Martins 8-0 in the first half. It was the greatest game we’ve played. To top it off the weather was not too bad. It was a wash of a game, meaning Northlake Christian had the mercy rule. This means that if a team reaches a certain amount of goals before the first half the game ends there. It was the first time this season we finished the entire game in 40 minutes. I scored the fifth goal and it was a great feeling. I assisted Lexie Anderson and she received a great goal off of it. Our coach repositioned some of us by moving Joy up top to striker with Lexie. She got her first goal of the season and I was so happy for her.
