When you are bored in school or simply just have nothing to do, do you find yourself drawing on your hand? Drawing on yourself has been shown to lead to health issues. A study conducted in 2022 has proven that having ink on your skin may trigger an allergy. This can ultimately lead to weakening of the immune system. Upon leaving ink on your skin for a duration of time, the ink may break down and begin to release toxic chemicals such as resin, xylene, and toluene. Moreover, it could also stain your skin temporarily. If this staining occurs, apply olive oil/coconut oil, rubbing alcohol, or whitening toothpaste. So, the next time you are about to draw on yourself, rethink and consider the possible results.
