The High School football playoffs are back and it is going to be a good one for Northlake. Last year we won the first round against Houma Christian 40-7 and lost to Calvary Baptist in the second round 52-0. We are hoping to bounce back this year and make it further with STA as our first matchup. We lost to them in the regular season 20-8 and we haven’t beat this team since 2016. If anyone would want this win more, it is us. People may think this could be an easy game for us, but I think it will be a close game. My prediction is us winning 21-20. When we make it to the second round, we play Newman in a big game that I think could be the highlight game of the week. Newman is just coming off a blow out by St Charles 28-0 so they are feeling ready to come back and make it to State. It is going to be a good playoff game so show up to Northlake on Friday at 7pm.
