On Saturday, the 1st of April, Northlake Christian had their La Vie En Rose themed prom at Tchefuncta Country Club. The decor with the addition of a spinning camera, made the experience not only fun but enjoyable. Walking up to the venue we were excited to see a streetcar, with Mr. Howard playing slow jazz music on his trumpet.  After taking pictures in front of the streetcar we were led into the beautifully decorated room filled with magnolia flowers and candles.  Thank you to Mrs. Thompson for the wonderful decorations.  Right before the crowning of the King and Queen, the teacher’s surprised Mrs. Vega with a second line dance all throughout the room to commemorate the flipping of the calendar. Many people loved the available hot/cold coffee and warm beignets. Overall a wonderful night to remember for years to come.
