The LSU Girls team ended with a record of 34-2 and placed 3rd seed. LSU went all the way to the Championship in March Madness by taking out teams, such as Hawaii, Michigan, Utah, Miami, and Virginia Tech. The LSU Tigers took on Iowa in the championship with two of the best players in the country on opposing teams. Iowa has a player named Catlyn Clark that has been going viral for her incredible shooting ability. Angel Reese is an LSU player that has an outstanding rebounding and finishing ability. LSU took down Iowa in a close battle with a score of 102-85. LSU’s score of 102 was the highest scoring championship ever in women’s basketball.
