The New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans are on two completely different paths. The Saints are 4-9 through 13 games. The Pelicans are the number 1 team in the Western Conference at a 18-8 record. The Saints have gone through a lot of injuries this season and have not handled it well. They have been the most injured team in the NFL this year with having our wide receivers, linebackers, and cornerbacks missing most of the season. The Saints have 4 more games left against the Falcons, Browns, Eagles, and Panthers. The Saints are looking like they will not make the postseason. Their next game is Sunday December 18 at 12:00 P.M. against the Falcons. The Pelicans also have the same issue with up to 4 starters out at the same time, but the Pelicans handled it differently. The Pelicans are still winning without their star player Brandon Ingram. You can thank the Pelicans young and talented bench for this. The next few games this week for the Pelicans are the Utah Jazz two times in a row on Tuesday and Thursday, then they end the week with the Phoenix Suns on Saturday. In all of Pelicans history they have never had as good a start as this year. Pelicans star player Zion Williamson starting to get in the Most Valuable Player (MVP) talks.
