It’s hard to embrace the fall season here in Louisiana. Why? Maybe it’s  the hot temperatures, the green leaves, or the inability to wear a sweater without sweating to death. Despite this, one thing never fails us: pumpkin spice. It’s the bringer of a joyful fall to us all. These pumpkin spice muffins are easy to make and only take thirty minutes! Give them a try and they are sure to make you get into the fall season this year. 



  • 1 Yellow cake mix 
  • 1 Canned Pumpkin puree (15 oz)
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon 
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Nutmeg


  1. Preheat your oven to 350° 
  2. Mix the cake mix, pumpkin puree, cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg into a bowl, mix until smooth
  3. Grease a 12 cup muffin pan, and then spoon the batter in the cups equally
  4. Cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes
