As the 8th graders were unloading the bus, they were buzzing with excitement and energy. The first activity that they had to do was their first grade level game, which was a relay race. They had to complete all 8 activities while being timed and after they finished, they would average all the times between the lead group to get their final time. The first station that they had to complete was an egg hunt where they had to find twelve eggs that had a piece of paper that said go on it. The next one they had to do was get in a line and the last person had to crawl through everyone’s legs. They had to do that until everyone did it once. The third station was where they had to soak a sponge with water and run to their destination bucket and fill it past the line. The fourth station was the hardest for the 8th graders. They had to unscramble words of a bible verse and put it in order. After they finished, they had to run to the next station in the field where they had to roll a ball into a hula hoop 3 times. The sixth station was to answer 3 riddles. The seventh riddle was another hard one for them. They had to get all the suits of whatever they first picked. For the last and final station, they had to solve a puzzle using the pieces that they had collected throughout the activity. This was another hard station for the 8th graders but they ended up finishing quickly. After finishing the activity, they all went into a room where Mr. Wear talked about leading courageously. After that, the 8th graders ate lunch and then had free time where they either went on a slide or in the pool.
