In this 2025-2026 school year there are many changes being made. These include our new disciplinarian’s Coach Chetta, and Mr.VanderVelde. A new parking lot was built right outside of the Wolverine gate for all of the overflow parking for the underclassman. NCS’s new trainer, Mr.Nick who came from Ponchatoula High School.  Skylar Vetter, our class President invented grade wars. Coach Chetta, this year is both our disciplinarian and our athletic director. Coach Chetta and Mr. VanderVelde this year is enforcing a lot of new and old rules. Such as, girls skirts have to be three inches above the knee both in the front and the back, no apple watches or phones at all, polo shirt underneath sweatshirts, no non-northlake attire, socks showing, and only neutral colored shoes. These rules were already in place but, this year it seems as though they are enforcing them. This year, we are starting grade wars every other Friday. Grade wars are split up between 7th-12th grades. Each grade is assigned their own colored flag which is placed in the Commons of our high school building, Providence. The team that has the most points by the end of the 1st and 2nd semester will either win a lunch of their choice, or a free dress down day.
