Star point guard, Luka Doncic, was traded Saturday, February 1st, to the Los Angeles Lakers, for star forward Anthony Davis. Luka was someone seen as an “untouchable” in the league until the Mavericks reached out to Los Angeles concerned about Luka’s injuries and his weight. The Mavericks claim he was overweight but when he was on the court, he averaged a triple double with ease. The Lakers won by a majority over the Mavericks and will look to build around Luka Doncic in the future. Pairing Luka and Lebron will be a duo everybody will remember. The next time these two matchup against each other will be February 25, 2025.
