On Friday, October 4th, Northlake Christian squared off against Breaux Bridge in an exciting matchup. Dominating the field, Northlake clinched a decisive victory with a final score of 28-7. The win added another notch to Northlake’s season. I was able to chat with Coach Willis of the NCS football team and get his opinion on this week’s game. 

Abigail Gray: What went well in the game against Breaux Bridge on Friday, October 4th?

Coach Willis: The coaching staff was really pleased how well our game plan worked.

Abigail Gray: What didn’t go well?

Coach Willis: One of the things that we were disappointed in was our poor tackling on Defense.

Abigail Gray: What could you have done better?

Coach Willis: We should have done more tackling drills throughout the week.

Abigail Gray: What was a takeaway from the game?

Coach Willis: We were forced to play some new people at different positions which proved our developmental plan has been effective.
