Over the weekend, Northlake Christian hit a major bump in the road. On Saturday, there was an electrical fire in Mitchell Hall, caused by a heater vent that had been left on. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the fire caused some serious disruption.
Here’s the scoop: because of the fire, the elementary students have been moved into the Jr. High building, Catledge. Meanwhile, Jr. High students and teachers will be rotating between classrooms in Providence Hall. High school teachers are also stepping up, with some taking on Jr. High classes that will be taught during their off periods to help keep things running smoothly.
This is definitely going to be a big change for everyone, and it’s going to take some time to adjust. So let’s all come together and support each other through this. Keep the school, teachers, students, and their families in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this new setup for the next few months. We’ll get through this together!
