The New Orleans Saints kicked off their first preseason win against the Arizona Cardinals with a score of 16-14. Spencer Rattler provided a spark in the final drive of the game, leading the offense to a game winning field goal. Rattler trying to earn the Saints backup quarterback job this season is shaping up to be a solid fit. The fifth-round pick out of South Carolina led a 12 play, 56 yard drive in the final two minutes, closing it out with a 37 yard field goal from Charlie Smyth with five seconds left. Rattler finished the game passing 9/17 for 70 yards, with a 4 yard rushing touchdown. The Saints play this Sunday, August 18 against the 49ers at 7pm.
