The NFL draft took place from August 25th to August 27th. This draft was full of excitement and surprises. The night started as expected with the generationally talented quarterback Caleb Williams being selected 1st overall by the Chicago Bears. We also saw shocking picks such as Michael Penix being drafted 8th overall by the Falcons. This shows why the draft is so entertaining year in and year out. We see teams’ fan bases be utterly destroyed, or rejuvenated by a single pick in the draft.  This year was no exception as it followed suit to the other years. Back home the Saints drafted offensive tackle Taliese Fuaga from Oregon State, many fans are excited about this pick.  Next, the Saints made the seal of the draft by selecting Kool-Aid McKinstry a cornerback from Alabama who was projected as being a first-round talent.  Overall, the draft continues to be a great experience for friends and family to watch together.
