Northlake soccer teams are off to the playoffs. Boy’s soccer team is number 10 in the division and went up against number 23 Sarah T. Reed. Northlake went into the game confident they were going to win and they did just that, winning 6-1 at home. They head to the next round against number 7 STA Thursday February 8th at 6pm.
Northlake girl’s soccer team is ranked number 12 in the division and went up against number 21 Lafayette Christian last Wednesday January 31st. We have young talent on this team with Skylar Vetter and Lexie Anderson scoring both points and winning 2-1. The girls moved onto the next round at Episcopal of Acadiana last night, Wednesday February 7th winning 3-2. Thus moving on to the next round facing St. Charles in the quarterfinals, date TBD.
