Anger, frustration, and aggravation may be a daily issue for you or someone you know. When you become angry, your body is put in fight or flight response. This causes your adrenaline levels to rise causing: elevated blood pressure, elevated heart rate, and an increase of blood clots.
How do you stop this from happening?
Relax: Meditate, make time for yourself, or try breathing exercises.
Avoid: If you know what makes you upset, avoid it.
It’s ok if life or people become frustrated and it’s ok to let your frustrations go, but do not let them control you. Remember, things can always get better.
Respond in a calm matter: Don‘t give people the satisfaction of making you mad.
Express your emotion: Whether it’s through therapy or by yourself, let your emotion go. It’s ok to be vulnerable and cry sometimes
