As multiple private schools approach homecoming there are new guidelines that have been set for this year. 

Girls: 

• Dresses must be long from tee length to floor length.
• The back of the dress shouldn’t be lower than the waist line
• No tight dress or revealing material 
• Slit in the dress must be one hand length between your knee and the top of the slit 

These guidelines must be obeyed if not you will not be allowed to attend homecoming. The shoes should be dress shoes too, no tennis shoes, sandals, flip flops etc… Every single private school has the same guidelines but Northlake finalized those with the long dresses this year. 

Guys: 

• Dress for a formal occasion, including jacket and a tie
• Shirts must remain buttoned and tucked in the whole dance

The guidelines for the guys shouldn’t be hard to obey. The shoes are the same with the guys and if you don’t obey this you won’t be able to attend homecoming. Every girl and guy will be getting checked for their outfits before entering. 

Dancing: 

• No Grinding
• No girls back to boys frontside 
• No inappropriate space between each other

Northlake’s guidelines should always be followed even with the dancing. You can dance and have fun without doing inappropriate behavior . Homecoming is at Northlake October 7, 2023 the event time starts 8-11pm.
