With a new head of the theater department, we are finally going back to Disney based school plays. This year we will be doing Beauty and the Beast, which is an amazing play to perform. Auditions will be Wednesday September 6th in the theater room (located in the art building) at 3:20, you must have a monologue prepared with the addition as a song from a play/musical that has 62 to 32 bares (if you cannot or are afraid to sing you do not have to perform a song). Call backs will be the next day if needed, which even if you don’t get called for call backs you still may be included in the play. Also there is a great need for backstage help. Whether it’s helping with the lights, the costumes, or even the sets, any help would be amazing for the production of the play.
