The Saints made some major acquisitions over this off-season. This includes the likes of Derek Carr and Jamaal Williams. Along with draft prospects such as Bryan Breese and A.T Perry, who had a major showing in the first preseason game against the Chiefs. He led the team in yards as well as receptions. Derek Carr set the tempo by driving down the field with ease to score the first touchdown of the day. The Saints ended up winning 26-24 with a last second field goal from kicker Blake Grupe. This showing should leave us excited for our next away game against the Los Angeles Chargers on August 20, 2023.
