Peppermint Bark Recipe
Here is a fun recipe to try this Christmas season. It’s peppermint bark! The recipe came from a company called Tasty. I’ve always grown up watching their recipes be made, and I am looking forward to making this one. Here is the recipe (serves 15):

Ingredients:
25 mini candy canes
4 cups of chocolate chips
½ teaspoon of peppermint extract
3 cups of white chocolate chips

Preparation:
Step 1:
~ Place the mini candy canes in a zip-top bag and use a rolling pin to crush them into small chunks
~ Transfer to a medium bowl
Step 2:
~ In a separate bowl, stir the peppermint extract into the melted chocolate chips
~ Pour onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and spread evenly with a spatula
~ Freeze for 5 minutes
Step 3:
~ Take the pan out of the freezer and pour the melted white chocolate over the chocolate, spreading evenly with a spatula
Step 4:
~ Sprinkle the crushed mini candy canes over the white chocolate
Step 5:
~ Freeze for 1 hour
Step 6:
~ Remove the bark from the freezer and break it into pieces
Step 7:
~ Enjoy!
